2. Beyond Kegels - taking a holistic approach to pelvic floor health for happy moving and freedom in life without doing another kegel.

This would be a practical, interactive workshop.

Pelvic Floor problems can limit a woman’s life so that she may find it a challenge to maintain focus, be as productive as she could be or have that extra energy needed for creativity and extra stretch within her role, plus pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms have been shown to significantly reduce the quality of life for the sufferer. One in four women from age 20 upwards experience pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms and nearly 70% of them have not sought help for their issues.

This workshop will focus on the lifestyle factors that every woman can look at to support her pelvic floor health that have nothing to do with kegels (pelvic floor muscle exercises) and instead give her freedom to get moving and take positive action.

The key areas covered are - diet, movement, stress/anxiety and sleep.

Attendees will come away with:

  • A clear 4 step plan that they can adapt to their unique situation

  • The encouragement to investigate their symptoms further by understanding that this is a common but not normal situation and much can be done to help

  • A boost in mindset and attitude to taking radical responsibility for personal wellbeing as a member of a team

  • A clear pathway to cut out all the noise from messaging they might have heard from healthcare professionals or online

The talk will end with a Q&A section where every attendee will get their question directly answered by Kathryn as specifically as is possible.

3. Mindset in Midlife - how to find your mojo again from your 40s onwards looking at mindset to feel motivated, connected and values driven for a more fulfilling life.

Women reach a turning point in their 40s where their energy becomes more stretched than ever before. We all need mindset support through our lives but helping this crucial population of your teams will help them filter out the stuff that is likely weighing them down and help them to re-focus on what matters most. By doing this they will have more energy to put into productivity and creativity while also connecting to their future and doing what works to get there.

This workshop will cover:

  • The science behind what’s going on in your brain in midlife and what you can do about it to create some balance

  • What your values are and why they’re so important to help you focus

  • How to make space for what matters most

  • How to let your inner critic have less control over your behaviour

  • Dealing with setbacks, roadblocks and pitfalls along the way of your new clearer pathway

Attendees will gain an essential overview of the areas of mindset they could do more work on for their specific situation with the background on key areas that can influence their wellbeing and life satisfaction. They will also gain clarity over what they can do that matters most for their long term health.
